About Josepha's design

Josepha designed the first soft cavesson as bitless dressage bridle, in hand bridle and lunging cavesson in 2004, after the designs used by the classical masters such as Antoine De Pluvinel. At the time, no one was doing bitless dressage and Josepha was one of the pioneers.  She had her designs handcrafted in Belgium and sold them all over the world via the first bitless and animal testing free webshop in the world, Equihof.

Her soft cavesson became the mainstream bitless bridle and many brands copied the design.

Anno 2024, 20 years later, Josepha was finally able to start her own brand, not only, as always, with the Horse's Welfare and comfort in mind, but also to help fund the Equine rescue shelter she has been working with sinds 2007.

Josepha with Owen and her first design classical dressage bitless bridle on the cover of Amazone Magazine (NL) in 2006, when she ran the first ever Bitless Tack shop in the world, Equihof. This bridle changed the classical dressage scene completely and bitless became a normal part of classical dressage.
